The Synchronized Skating Club is competive group of women who seek to skate at the highest level possible, while still having fun & making friends.
The first practice occurs shortly after Club Sports Activities night in September (carpools are formed at this time). For more information about joining the University of Delaware Synchronized Skating team, please contact coaches Megan O'Donnell, Wendy Deppe, or any of the club officers (below).
The maximum number of skaters to skate a Collegiate level program is 20; however, in previous years, we have had between 16 and 27 skaters on the roster (including alternate/swing positions). At the University of Delaware, we do accept both men and women on our synchronized skating team.
Synchronized skating practice and competition schedule spans from September to March (including winter session). All practices are in the Rust and Gold Areas on campus.
As we are a Collegiate Synchronized Skating Team, we are affiliated with the USFSA (United States Figure Skating Association).
