The University of Delaware Cycling Club is in place for the simple purpose of developing riders and growing the sport of cycling. All levels of commitment and competition are available within the club.
Due to the club's extremely busy racing season in the spring, recruiting meetings take place throughout the fall semester. While there are no official recruitment meetings during the spring, all interested people are welcome to join the team during the spring racing season.
Both men and women are welcome to become members of the UD Cycling club. Currently there are no limits on the number of members in the club.
The club does not hold regular "practices" because of participant's busy schedules, but group rides are offered where members of similar abilities can train together on rides in the area. Also, during the winter months, members of the club often train indoors together.
