SYNCHRONIZED SKATING HEADS TO CHAMPIONSHIP
This weekend the University of Delaware Synchronized Skating Teams, Collegiate and Open Collegiate, competed in Hershey, PA at the 2012 Eastern Synchronized Skating Sectional Championships.
The Open Collegiate Team competed against 9 other teams and ended up getting second place with a great skate! Some of the other competitive teams were Boston College, Oswego State University, and the University of Maryland.
The Collegiate team competed against 5 other teams and won the gold medal and is now the 14 time Collegiate Synchronized Skating Sectional Champions. This team scored 79.58. The second place team was the University of New Hampshire who scored 65.75. The other colleges participating in this event were Boston University, Team Excel, University of Massachusetts, and Cornell University.
The Collegiate team will be competing at the 2012 U.S. Synchronized Skating Championships in Worcester, MA March 1-3, 2012.
