Collegiate Club Figure Skating Brings Home Gold

The University of Delaware Collegiate Figure Skating Team (UDCFST) took first place at the MIT Collegiate Competition on Feb. 19, earning its second victory of the year.

UDCFST scored 125 points overall at MIT, beating out its top competitors, Dartmouth College and Boston University, by 25 points. "Our team is very dedicated and talented,” said Marissa Marschall, team President. “I believe that if the team keeps putting in 100 percent, we will be in a great place to hopefully win another national title.” The team’s next competition will be at UD on March 17-18 and will determine the teams that qualify for nationals in April.
