BODYPUMP: The original 55 minute barbell weight class that builds strength and pushes you to the limit every time. Shapes and tones muscles, improves general fitness, increases bone density and blasts away fat! Great music, awesome instructors, and your choice of weights will help you sculpt your way to the body of your dreams!
Butts and Guts: Strengthen, tone, and condition your "backside," legs, and core! Get ready for body weight exercises, plyometric drills, and some weight training.
Calorie Killer: This class will focus on cardiovascular endurance and a mixture of short, high-intensity interval training. Calorie Killer circuits will include basic step moves & lower body toning intervals & finish up with abdominal work. This class will surely blast you into shape!
Chizzled: Build strength and endurance in your body! You'll perform several sets of exercises with free weights as well as using resistance tubing, gliding discs, body bars, and body weight. Blast cakories with exciting cardio drills! Core and abdominals included!
Pilates: This class is based on core strength and "contrology" principles of Joseph Pilates. Improve flexibility and strength through controlled movement that engages both the body and the mind. Mats provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Core Pilates: Experience the same great workout as regular pilates in this toning and abdominal focused class! Mats provided, but feel free to bring your own!
UD Cycle: A great option
for anyone looking to cross-train and increase cardiovasular endurance! Cycle your way to a better body! Please arrive early if you need help with your bike set up.
Power Yoga: Take yoga to the next level! You will flow through each pose, challenging both the mind and body. Mats are provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Step & Sculpt: Learn new moves and exciting combos on the step to get your heart pumping. Then turn up the intensity with a weight training workout that will burn fat and sculpt your muscles.
Women's Weight Train:
This course will introduce the basic concepts of weight training for
individuals with limited experience. This class is progressive so individuals
who are already versed in resistance training can still count on a good
workout! Appropriate for all fitness levels. *THIS CLASS REQUIRES SPECIFIC
REGISTRATION IN PERSON PRIOR TO THE START OF CLASS, NOT INCLUDED WITH
THE GENERAL FITNESS PASSES.
Yoga: Improve your overall strength and flexibility while also learning relaxation and breathing techniques to reduce stress. Great for all fitness levels and no experience necessary. Mats provided, but feel free to bring your own.
YogaFit: A combination of dynamic movement, strength, flexibility, and sun salutations. Improve your overall strength and flexibility while increasing mind-body awareness through this invigorating yoga practice.
Zumba: Zumba is a fun, high energy, and easy to follow dance workout. With the music blasting and disco lights spinning, you'll forget that you are even exercising!
UD Fitness and Recreation reserves the right to adjust the schedule based on class attendance, holidays, semester breaks, and special events.
For safety reasons, participants must arrive at class NO LATER than 10 minutes after the class start time. (i.e. If a class starts at 5:15pm, participants will not be allowed to enter the class after 5:25pm)
