Outdoor Recreation Resouce Center
The Outdoor Recreation Resouce Center (ORRC) provides a variety of outdoor camping equipment for rent to full-time students, faculty and staff. A user's fee is charged based on the equipment and the duration of the rental. Sorry, we do not rent rockclimbing equipment.
The ORRC also provides regional outdoor information, outdoor literature, outdoor tips, and instruction on using outdoor gear.
General Rental Procedure
- You must reserve you equipment a minimum of three (3) business days prior to your departure.-
- Only UD students and employees may rent this equipment.
-Reservations may be made up to one month in advance but no later than three days
in advance.
-Rental cancellations not made at least 24 hours in advance will be charged.
- Fees must be paied before equipment will be issued. Bring your receipt when picking up equipment.
-Rental fees may be paid at the CSB cashier window between 8am - 8pm M-F during the school year; 8 am - 4 pm, M-F in the summer months.
-Fines will be assessed for late returns, dirty, missing or damaged equipment.
Returning Equipment
Equipment must be returned by 4:00 pm, on the agreed upon return date, to the CSB equipment desk. All cooking gear should be cleaned. Tents should be shaken out and dried if possible.
