The Vice President for Student Life serves as the senior student affairs officer for the University. The Vice President provides oversight to 12 administrative units including Career Services, Center for Black Culture, Center for Counseling and Student Development, Dean of Students, Housing Assignment Office, Judicial Affairs, New Student Orientation, Residence Life, Student Centers, Student Health Services, Student Services for Athletes, and Wellspring - Student Wellness Programs.

In addition, the Vice President Co-chairs the Academic and Student Affairs Council, serves as the President's designee to the Faculty Senate Student and Faculty Honors Committee, and directs several University-wide events including New Student Convocation, Honor's Day Programs, Parent & Family Weekend Program and the University of Delaware Parent Board.
