rehearses en masse on Monday nights. The Union performs large-scale

A performance-oriented introductory course in the "knobbed gong" musical
traditions of Java and Bali. Includes traditional as well as
contemporary literature study, theoretical analysis and historical
overview, with performance experience.
MUSC 121 Gamelan Ensemble 1
Gamelan is the largest instrumental ensemble from Southeast Asia, and is
considered the "orchestra of the Eastern world." This is a performing
ensemble, dealing with traditional and contemporary Japanese and
Balinese literature.

Ensemble for the performance of instrumental and vocal music of the
Medieval, Renaissance and Early Baroque periods. Size, instrumentation
