Charles E. Mason, Ph.D. (Kansas State), Professor: Pest management of stalk-boring insects, biological control and pheromone ecology.
 
Roland R. Roth, Ph.D. (Illinois), Professor: Ecology, ornithology, mammalogy, and wildlife conservation.
 
Douglas W. Tallamy, Ph.D. (Maryland), Professor: Insect ecology and ethology, the evolution of social behavior in tingids (Hemiptera), plant-insect interactions.
 
Thomas K. Wood, Ph.D. (Cornell), Professor: Insect ecology, ethology and speciation of membracids (Homoptera).
 
Clifford B.O. Keil, Ph.D. (Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University), Associate Professor: Insect genetics, genetics of insecticide resistance, insect pathology, mushroom insects.

Eight adjunct faculty assist from time to time in the teaching and research program and serve as graduate committee members. These scientists are with the USDA Beneficial Insects Research Laboratory, E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Company, the Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia, and Stroud Water Research Center.
