The Associate Provost for Academic Affairs is charged with advocating for and advancing the missions of the Honors Program, the Academic Enrichment Center, University Studies, the First Year Experience, and the Office of Disability Support Services. The Associate Provost for Academic Affairs also serves as the liaison for the Office of the Provost with the university's Faculty Senate as well as a variety of other activities including Academic Program Reviews, Permanent Status Program Reviews and New Faculty Orientation. In addition, the Associate Provost for Academic Affairs serves as a liaison to the university's Area Studies Programs.
