Who is eligible to apply?
- Full-time assistant, associate, full, and named professors actively teaching at least one credit course each semester.
- Full-time instructors actively teaching at the University of Delaware.
- University of Delaware staff who also hold a secondary appointment with the title of assistant professor or higher and are actively teaching at least one credit course each semester.
- All registrants must have introductory knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote. Pre-Institute sessions are available to meet this requirement.
- Institute participation will be limited to 30 individuals.
- Repeat participation is welcome, but the technology bundle is only offered for the first year of participation.
These requirements support the institute mission to assist UD faculty who teach in enhancing student learning through the appropriate use of technology. Institute alumni are recognized as Faculty Fellows and are expected to be available to mentor their colleagues, to participate in the development of an instructional project of their choosing, and to present the results of their project at a future faculty institute.
