Criteria
- Learning Objectives
- are clearly presented,
- address multiple learning styles, and
- are based on sound pedagogical practices.
- Activity
- The instructions are clear and succinct.
- Technical issues are addressed to ensure maximum usability for students.
- The expectations for the students’ performance/work are understandable and reasonable.
- The instructor's role/responsibilities in the activity is/are clearly indicated.
- The activity is engaging and/or stimulating.
- The students received feedback on their performance.
- The technical level is balanced (hand-holding vs. exploration, conventions vs. concepts).
- If the activity required technical expertise on the students’ part, help and resources were provided.
- The activity helped students to do one or more of the following:
- understand and remember information and ideas
- collaborate with others
- learn and practice new skills
- develop critical, creative or practical thinking
- manage projects
- connect ideas and people
- develop new interests and values
- foster self-directing learning
- Evaluation
- The learning objective(s) were achieved.
- The activity is transferable to other instructional contexts.
- Technology facilitated the efficiency of this activity (i.e., without the technology solution this activity would have been more cumbersome to accomplish).
