The Department of Political Science and International Relations offers courses in primarily four of the traditional subfields of Political Science: American Politics (including Public Law), Comparative Politics, International Relations, and Political Theory. Within Comparative Politics we offer courses in most areas of the world beyond the USA, including Africa, East and Southeast Asia, Europe, Latin America, and the Middle East. Within International Relations our courses cover such areas as development, diplomacy and world order, international political economy and US foreign policy.
