FREELANCE TRANSLATOR/INTERPRETER (since September 2001)

  • Completed translations and interpreted for various companies, writers, and scholars
  • Translations include: banking contracts; Franklin's Magic Squares , an article on Benjamin Franklin's work in the field of Mathematics, and the translation into English of a review on the article Thucydides as a Theorist of International Relations (Dr. Lowell Gustafson, Villanova University).
  • Collaborated on the translation into French of a 100-page play titled An Empty Plate at the Grand-Bœuf . The play, which was a great success in the 1990's, was performed in New-York with the main character George Wentz from “Cheers”. The play will be performed in Paris in the near future
  • Acted as an interpreter on behalf of plaintiffs/defendants in a New Jersey justice court
  • Volunteer interpreter for the Villanova Law School. I worked with law students on the case of several refugees seeking political asylum on U.S. soil, who were secured at the detention center of the Department of Homeland Security of Berks County (PA)
