Kyong-Min Son, PhD (Cornell University, 2012) joined the Department in 2012. He specializes in modern and contemporary political theory, democratic theory, and 20th century comparative intellectual history. His current project examines democratic disaffection as a distinct threat to contemporary democracies, tracing its origins to the transformation of democracy in the postwar era.
