Intellectual Life

The Department of Political Science and International Relations seeks to promote a vibrant intellectual life for its faculty, students and the University and community. We sponsor and co-sponsor annual lecture series such as the American Politics Brown Bag, the Colloquium on Global Governance and Society, and Global Agenda. We also contribute to programs and events organized by many other units around campus with which our faculty and students are affiliated. Our faculty and students are actively engaged in research and regularly present their scholarship at national and international venues and publish their findings in books and journals. A sampling of faculty publications and presentations is provided.
