	Research Objectives
	The aim of my research is to facilitate the development of policy initiatives that address the social, political, and economic problems facing African-Americans and other resource minority groups in society.
	Primary Research Interest
	the study of the socioeconomic development of African-American populations rural and urban communities, the factors influencing the educational attainment of African-American males, and development and governance issues in sub-Saharan Africa.
	Secondary Research Interest
	the study of African-Americans as participants in the United States political system in the post-Civil Rights Era the study of intergenerational mobility among African-American race as it relates to employment and labor force participation poverty and social welfare policy
