In addition to serving as department chair for 5 years I have served on most of the departmental committees at some time.  This year I have served on the Peer Review Committee, the Graduate Program Committee and I am the chair of the graduate section for American Politics.

 
 
 


In addition to the courses I teach I also serve on numerous Ph.D. and M.A. committees in the Political Science Department, The College of Marine Studies and in the MPA Program. I am the chair of many of these committees.   At the present time I am the chair of three Ph.D. dissertation committees.   During the past two years two of my advisees completed their Ph.D.s.
