This program is being continued as the Integrated Training Option in the Dept. of Plant and Soil Sciences of the University of Delaware.  Several new participants have been added; others are no longer participating.  Potential applicants should contact Donald Sparks (dlsparks@udel.edu) or Pamela Green (green@dbi.udel.edu).

   Four of the original participants have moved to other institutions.  Bertrand Lemieux is now with Iquum in Allston, Massachusetts.  Mark Radosevich joined the faculty of the Department of Biosystems Engineering and Environmental Science of the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, Tennessee.  Barbara Valent joined the faculty of the Department of Plant Pathology of Kansas State University in Manhattan, Kansas.  Allan Shapiro joined the faculty of the Biotechnology Program of Florida Gulf Coast University in Fort Meyers, Florida and will be the first faculty member associated with the  FGCU-affiliated, Plant Research Center that will soon be under construction on the grounds of Naples Botanical Garden in Naples, Florida.
