The meeting banquet will be held at 6:30 (reception at 6:00) in George's restaurant on the third floor of the Johnson Center on Friday night, April 19. The cost will be $25.00 per person. Please send reservation requests for the banquet to Robert Ehrlich no later than Monday morning, April 15, 2002; please indicate your preference for either a chicken or vegetarian entree.

Workshop

Ron Reese will offer a workshop on Friday at 4:30-6:00pm in Room 224, Sci Tech 1 Building. Titled "Scribble, scribble, scribble.", the author of a new and lively introductory text, University Physics, will discuss his work. Come meet and interact with the author. More...

Papers

Coffee, refreshments, and registration will be at 8:00am Saturday morning in the Room 131 in the Science and Tech 1 building, right next to the Johnson Center. Papers will begin at 8:30am. Presentation times will be 20 minutes with 5 minutes for questions.

Prizes will be awarded for the best paper representing a significant contribution to the teaching of physics at each of four levels: University and College, Two Year College, High School, and Undergraduate Research.
