The meeting banquet will be held in the Refectory in the Humanities Center on Friday night, April 20, with a reception starting at 6:00pm in the Hug Lounge nearby, followed by dinner at 6:45pm. The cost will be $30.00 per person. Please send reservation requests for the banquet to Frank Haig no later than Wednesday April 11, 2001. Papers and Demonstrations

Coffee, refreshments, and registration will be at 8:00am Saturday morning in the Physics Seminar Room, Knott Hall Room 217. After a welcome from the College by Dr. David Haddad, Academic Vice President of Loyola College, papers will begin at 8:40am. Presentation times will be 20 minutes with 5 minutes for questions.

Prizes will be awarded for the best paper representing a significant contribution to the teaching of physics at each of four levels: University and College, Two Year College, High School, and Undergraduate Research.

A Physics Demonstration Session is also being organized as part of our contributed papers session on Saturday morning. Demos should be approximately 5 minutes in duration, with a 10 minute maximum.
