There is substantial evidence that the ordinary matter we see around us (including the stars) only makes up a very small fraction of the Universe. The existence of "dark matter" has been postulated for many years. Recently there is new evidence that there may be a previously unknown and unseen "dark energy" that pervades all of space and is causing the Universe to expand. In this talk we will explore this evidence and show how we see some the "invisible" particles around us.
