These individuals have given between $100,000 - $249,999 (Pillars) or more than $250,000 (Signers) cumulatively during the course of their lives, establishing a strong tradition of support.

The Delaware Diamonds Society recognizes individuals who have given $1,000 or more in the past fiscal year. Graduates of the past ten years who have given $500 or more during the last fiscal year also receive membership to the Delaware Diamonds Society.

The Carillon Circle recognizes alumni and friends who provide support to the University through life income, bequests or other estate and planned gifts. The name Carillon Circle was inspired by the Class of 1907’s gift of the carillon to the University. At the dedication ceremony, the class stated that they hoped this legacy would “warm the hearts and lift the thoughts” of Blue Hens for generations to come.

True Blue Hens is a recognition society that honors undergraduate alumni who make a gift to UD for three or more consecutive years or who have given every year since graduation. True Blue Hens are among UD’s most loyal donors.

Many alumni have fond memories of their time on campus, as they recall the friendships, mentors and lessons that impacted their lives. Reunions provide a chance to celebrate those memories and to give back to make sure that today’s Blue Hens – and Blue Hens for generations to come – share similar opportunities.

The Senior Class Gift is an opportunity for graduating students to show their appreciation for the many opportunities they have had at the University. Each graduating class member is asked to make a contribution, honoring a tradition and creating a legacy of support.
