The Workshop will take place on July 5-6, 1997 at the LSA Linguistic Institute at Cornell. The Institute can provide short term housing in Balch Hall at Cornell at the rate of $17.25 per night for a single, $14.75 for a double per person. Short-term dining will be available at a cost of $69.50 per week for any 10 meals, $89.25 for any 15 meals per person. Per-meal rates are also available at the dining halls. As an alternative to living in the residence hall, there are many hotels in the area. You can get information on hotels in the Ithaca area over the Web (http://www.ithaca.ny.us/Commerce/lodging.html). Hotels will presumably be more comfortable than the Cornell residence halls, but they will also be much more expensive. In some cases, you may also need to rent a car, arrange for a parking permit at the Institute etc.
