This two-day conference will include a keynote address by Steven Rathgeb Smith, who is Waldemar A. Neilson Chair in Philanthropy at Georgetown University, and panel discussions on "The National Status of Philanthropy and the Nonprofit Sector," "The State of Philanthropy and the Nonprofit Sector in Delaware" and "Strengthening Philanthropy and the Nonprofit Sector in Delaware." Also featured will be a variety of concurrent workshops on such topics as "Strategic Opportunities for Collaboration and Consolidation; Models of Success," "Strengthening Philanthropy in Delaware" and "Challenges Facing Nonprofit Boards."
