From the North and the East:
Take I-95 South to Delaware Exit 1-B - Route 896 North. (Visitors driving from Pennsylvania should be aware of temporary I-95 closings and traffic pattern changes. Please read road signs carefully). Continue straight, and the Sports Complex will be on your right just after the Routes 4/896 intersection. Central Campus is straight ahead as 896 becomes South College Avenue.
Alternate Route: Take I-95 South to Delaware Exit 3-B - Route 273 West. Continue straight on 273 for less than five miles and as you cross Route 2/Library Avenue, you will be on East Main Street in Downtown Newark.
From the South and the West:
Take I-95 North to Maryland Exit 109B - Route 279 North (also called Route 2). Proceed on this road which becomes Elkton Road as you cross the Delaware-Maryland border and head into Newark. Continue straight for less than five miles until Elkton Road bends right and becomes Delaware Avenue.
Alternate Route: Take I-95 North to Delaware Exit 1 - Route 896 North. Continue straight on Route 896 North, and the Bob Carpenter Center will be on your right just after the Routes 4/896 intersection. Central Campus in straight ahead as your go over a bridge and are on South College Avenue.
