Delaware Bluefish swim team
In order to be a member of the swim team you MUST be a member of the University of Delaware outdoor pool.
WHO CAN JOIN
The swim team is open to youngsters aged 6 to 19, and the only basic requirement is that participants must be able to swim at least one lap (25 meters/yards) in freestyle or backstroke form.
- Fee is $55, with $50 for each additional family members
FIRST PRACTICE AND PARENTS MEETING (2009 Information Coming Soon)
SEASON HIGHLIGHTS
- Season begins after Memorial Day and runs through mid-July.
- The first two weeks of June team will practice in the evening Monday-Friday.
- Once schools are out for the summer, team will practice 9:15 a.m.-11 a.m. Monday-Friday.
- Eight swim meets, involving all team members, will be held.
- Wednesday meets begin at 6 p.m.
- Saturday meets begin at 9 a.m.
- Home swim meets dates will be posted on the web site
- End of the season party
