Animal and Food Sciences Department of the Month August 2008 Occupational Health and Safety is proud to recognize Animal and Food Sciences (ANFS) as the Department of the Month for August 2008. August is National Immunization Awareness Month, and ANFS has demonstrated their commitment to safety through the provision of appropriate immunizations for the staff. Dr. Kali Kniel approached OHS about the need for hepatitis A vaccinations for the research staff due to their work with the virus in the lab. OHS arranged for potentially exposed members of Dr. Kniel’s research group to receive the vaccination through Christiana Care Occupational Health Services.continue>>>
