NAA II: Students in Grades 7 & 8

Robotics:
In this advanced program, students will have
everything they neecf to build a functioning robot. The
"brain" of the robot is the newest LEGO® NXT
programmable brick that allows users to transform
motorized LEGO® creations into robots. During the
five-day session, students will design, program, and
build multi-brick units that can move, sense, lift, and
track.
Scratch:
Scratch, developed by MIT, is a medium for creative
expression. Students quickly move to a more
advanced level of Scratch as they focus their creative
skills on 'gaming' programs that may be shared with
their fellow stucfents and the Scratch community.
