Once an invention is disclosed, the Technology Transfer Center (TTC) assigns a project team, comprised of technical and business expertise, to evaluate the technology and guide the invention from patent procurement through commercialization.

Clinton Tymes is the State Director of the Delaware Small Business Development Center Network, headquartered at the University of Delaware. He is responsible for long-range planning and program development for the statewide network.

David Weir

Dr. David S. Weir holds a doctorate in chemical physics and lectured at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland before a 35-year career with DuPont. He is a former vice president for global research and development at DuPont and the founding director of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute.
