Denise assists with the filing of patent applications and related activities associated with the Intellectual Property Center.

Konrad Kmetz functions as a manager for the implementation of the State Science and Technology Plan and is a member of the Intellectual Property Center.

Cyndi is responsible for establishing and managing the Office's relations and communication network to ensure successful internal and external partnerships and collaborations with an emphasis on programs to encourage and enable innovation and entrepreneurship.

Shelley coordinates and supports university-wide initiatives and partnerships with the public and private sector, including the research and education activities relating to the Army Base Realignment and Closure (BRAC).

Bruce oversees responsibilities for handling intellectual property matters related to inventions, patents, copyright, and trademark opportunities including the legal issues associated with such assets.

Barbara’s entrepreneurial background includes owning and operating mail order and catering businesses. She assists setting up and financing small businesses.

Amalea is responsible for financial and budgetary matters and assists with external relations. She is often the first point of contact for callers and visitors to OEIP.

Clinton Tymes is the State Director of the Delaware Small Business Development Center Network, headquartered at the University of Delaware. He is responsible for long-range planning and program development for the statewide network.

Dr. David S. Weir holds a doctorate in chemical physics and lectured at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland before a 35-year career with DuPont. He is a former vice president for global research and development at DuPont and the founding director of the Delaware Biotechnology Institute.

Bradley assists UD researchers with legal issues relating to inventions, patents, copyrights and trademarks.
