As part of its broader mission, the Office of Economic Innovation and Partnerships, is helping to develop mutually beneficial partnerships within the state, region and across the globe that produce economic and community benefits and a societal impact.

Several current University of Delaware partnerships include:

NRG Energy

NRG Energy, Inc. is partnering with the University of Delaware to take electric vehicles to the next level with eV2g, a company commercializing new technology that will enable electric vehicle owners to sell electric storage services from the batteries of parked electric vehicles to help stabilize the electricity grid.

U.S. Army Research and Engineering Command at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Maryland

The collaboration covers research, graduate education, professional development and career services along with opening up career opportunities for University of Delaware students and alumni.

Cecil College

Articulation agreements allow UD and Cecil College to work together in providing both engineering and logistics curriculum at Aberdeen Proving Ground.

CCL Biomedical, LLC

As a company that began at the University of Delaware, CCL Biomedical utilizes research from UD's faculty to advance textile materials to be resistant to the spread of germs and disease.
