AVID
Advancement Via Individual Determination
AVID is a fourth through twelfth grade system to prepare students in the academic middle for four-year college eligibility. This initiative has been adopted by Christina School District middle and high schools. The University of Delaware is currently discussing ways in which education majors and other volunteers can provide assistance to local schools as AVID Tutors.
