Online Dispostions Evaluation

This page is intended for Cooperating Teachers, University Faculty, and Staff that intend to evaluate a teacher candidate using the UD Field Experience Placements System (FEPS).

Please follow the steps below to complete the online form.

1. Go to the Clinical Studies page for Cooperating Teachers, http://www.udel.edu/ocs/co-op/index.html

2. Under the heading ‘Evaluations’ select ‘Cooperating Teacher Login

3. Log in to the UD Field Experience Placement System (FEPS).

- If you have used this system before you may use your email and password.
- If you are new to the system you must use your district email for the login.
- Note the two buttons that allow you to change your password, or have it emailed to the address we have on record.

NOTE - If you do not currently have a student teacher then skip to step #4.

4. If you currently have a student teacher you will see the screen below. Select 'Create dispositions for students'

5. You should see the students assigned to you listed.

- Select a student by clicking on the radio button next to the name

- Click on the button marked ‘Create a Disposition Evaluation Report ’

6. Make sure to score the student in each section. Comments are not required.

7.Once you have completed the disposition evaluation click the Final Submit button at the bottom of the page. If you are interrupted or for some reason cannot complete the evaluation at one sitting you can click the Save button and complete the evaluation at a later time.

8. You will be taken back to the Student Selection Page

- Make sure there is a check next to the student name, and under the heading ‘Completed’

9. Make sure to log out AND close the internet browser

Please keep in mind:

- If you try and exit the evaluation before it is complete the system will give you the option of saving without submitting. In that case you will see check under the column marked ‘Started’

- Please note that an ‘unacceptable’ rating will initiate a conference with the student, the Program Coordinator, and/or other interested parties. The purpose will be to develop a plan for future success.
