OCM supports and promotes UD's globalization efforts through projects spanning the print to electronic spectrum.

Currently, OCM staff are providing strategic communications support for the planning of UD's new Institute for Global Studies. Additionally, we continue to promote the University-wide William S. Carlson International Polar Year Events through a variety of avenues including an interactive Web site.

OCM also reports on new and existing international partnerships forged by the University and shares information about these activities with media on local to international levels.

Among more recent innovative activities, OCM has worked with UD researchers on an Antarctic blog series, developed an online expedition to deep-sea hydrothermal vents involving more than 20,000 middle and high school students across the United States and internationally, and assisted with the creation of an online journal for the international fashion and apparel industry.
