We invite you to join us from 1:30-2 p.m. this Friday in Mitchell Hall for a live national webinar hosted by the University to kick off Engineers Week 2014.

UD is partnering with DuPont and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers–USA (IEEE–USA) to present this 30-minute program that will serve as a national preview of Engineers Week 2014 activities.

The critical role engineers play in addressing today’s grand challenges will be discussed by a panel including Karen Fletcher, DuPont chief engineer and vice president–engineering, facilities and real estate; Gary Blank, president-elect of IEEE–USA; and from UD: Babatunde Ogunnaike, dean of the College of Engineering; Elizabeth Mahoney, doctoral student in chemical and biomolecular engineering; and Kelsey McWilliams, undergraduate student in environmental engineering.
