Directions for Admission to the RN to BSN and RN to MSN Programs
RN to BSN
- If you have not already taken a class at the University of Delaware, please fill out a quick bio at the following link. You will receive a Student ID Number (UD ID) and PIN. Make a note of this information to use later in the sign-up process.
- Click here to complete the online application for admission.
- Submit the following documentation to the School of Nursing:
- Copy of current nursing license
- Official individual copies of all previously attended high institutions of learning
- A check in the amount of $75 (application fee) made payable to the University of Delaware
RN to MSN
- If you have not already taken a class at the University of Delaware, please fill out a quick bio at the following link. You will receive a Student ID Number (UD ID) and PIN. Make a note of this information to use later in the sign-up process.
- Click here to complete the online application for admission.
- Submit the following documentation to the School of Nursing:
- Copy of current nursing license
- Official individual copies of all previously attended higher institutions of learning
- A check in the amount of $75 (application fee) made payable to the University of Delaware (include your UD ID on the check)
- 3 Professional References (mailed directly to the School of Nursing by the chosen reference, not mailed by the applicant)
- Current Resume
- Short Essay responding to the following questions:
1. Upon what past experiences and interests do you base your present decision to apply for admission?
2. How does study for a MSN in your program of interest fit into your short and long term goals and career aspirations?
3. How will the resources at UD help you to achieve your objectives to become successful in your program of interest?
RN to MSN DEADLINES: OCTOBER 1st and MARCH 1st
