A.I. duPont Hospital for Children Craft Nights: The craft nights allow SNO members to interact with children in the hospital setting. 10 students participate each night in a craft activity for the children.

Blue and Golden Days: SNO members can volunteer to represent the School of Nursing on Blue and Golden days when prospective students and their parents visit. Students will answer questions and give tours of the simulations labs.

Blood Pressure and Stethoscope Sale: SNO provides a sale for these items in the fall to allow students to purchase them at a discounted price.

UD clothing

Clothing Sale: Sweatshirts, sweatpants, fleeces, and rugby shirts are being sold during the fall semester. Totes and other items may be sold in the spring. If you have ideas on an item to be sold this spring, send us an e-mail!

Supply Sale: SNO sells pen lights, hemostats, and scissors in the office for $3 each. Come by during office hours or send an e-mail to schedule a time to pick up these items.

career fair

Career Fair: SNO members will be helping set up tables greet the hospital employees attending the career fair.

Adopt a Family: Students can become involved in helping SNO sponsor a family for the holiday season.

Senior Photos: Photo’s will be taken throughout the semester of senior students in their nursing uniform for a slideshow at graduation.

Relay for Life: Students can participate in this overnight event to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. This event is held in the spring.
