Accreditation - Third Party Comments Invited
The University of Delaware, School of Nursing will seek re-accreditation of the baccalaureate (BSN) and master’s (MSN) degree programs and accreditation of the post-graduate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certificate programs from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) in the fall of 2015.
Recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education, the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education is an autonomous accrediting agency, which ensures the quality and integrity of baccalaureate and graduate programs. As a voluntary, self-regulatory process, CCNE accreditation supports and encourages continuing self-assessment, growth and improvement of collegiate professional nursing education programs.
The CCNE site visit will take place September 28-30, 2015. As part of the process, we are inviting our faculty, students, alumni, practice and community partners and other constituents to provide comments to CCNE regarding our nursing programs as they relate to the accreditation standards.
Comments received by CCNE are considered confidential and are only shared with the evaluation team. Written and signed third-party comments will be accepted until September 7, 2015 and can be submitted to:
