To all Nursing students that will be doing clinical assignments in the following Delaware Hospitals:

  • Bayhealth (Kent and Milford) Medical Center
  • Beebe Memorial Hospital
  • DuPont Children’s Hospital
  • St. Francis Hospital, Wilmington
  • Nanticoke Memorial Hospital
  • Christiana Care Hospital (Wilmington and Newark)

You need to complete the universal mandatory education lessons found at www.christianacare.org prior to starting clinical assignments. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the link for students. These education lessons will need to be done annually.

Once you log onto the Christiana Care website:

  1. scroll to the bottom of the page and click on For Students
  2. click on Sign On at the top right of the page
  3. click on New Person Please Add Me if this is your first time completing the education programs.
  4. enter your information – all areas should be completed regardless on if there is an asterisk or not. All students have clinical at Christiana Care so indicate YES to “Scheduled for Clinical at Christiana Care”
  5. Click on OK when all information has been entered

You then can click on “Complete Required Education” and complete the 3 programs.

Some students have problems completing the program on their personal computer due to block-up settings. If you try several times and continue to have problems, you will need to go to a UD computer lab to complete the programs.
