ALAN FRIEDMAN NURSING SCHOLARSHIP

Alan Friedman died of cancer at the age of 48. His will provided that his gift to the University Of Delaware be used for the purpose of establishing a fund for undergraduate scholarships to be awarded on the basis of financial need and proven academic accomplishments. $250,000 of his bequest was designated for the College of Nursing.
