Public Allies is a member of the AmeriCorps National Service Network. AmeriCorps members serve with local and national organizations to meet community needs, and have been recognized by Presidents Clinton and Bush as models for youth leadership across the United States.

Public Allies Delaware is the only youth leadership development program of its kind in the state. Located at the Nonprofit Community Resource Center in downtown Wilmington, Delaware, Public Allies serves as an important resource for civic-minded young adults, ages 18 to 30. Public Allies links the agencies that serve our community with young leaders trained to identify its needs.

Public Allies offers young people a wide array of opportunities to strengthen and develop professional skills, to work effectively in a diverse atmosphere and to utilize talents toward improving the quality of life for those around them. With the support of numerous corporate sponsors, donors and volunteers, a national network of young people has been created.
