Center for Community Research and Service

Located in the heart of Wilmington's Enterprise Community, in the Community Services Building, the Center for Community Research & Service provides information, training, and technical assistance to nonprofit and community-based organizations and to public agencies serving low- and moderate income families & communities. It houses a library of resources for community and economic development, nonprofit management, and affordable housing and coordinates several practitioner training workshops and courses. It is also home to several nonprofit organizations serving the needs of Delaware's communities.

Since 1993, the CCRS Wilmington Office has used the data gathering, research and analytical capabilities, and educational resources of the University of Delaware to strengthen the capacities of individuals and organizations - neighborhood and community based, public and nonprofit - to contribute to the improvement of social and economic conditions in the state and region.
