Karl Rove was President George W. Bush’s top political adviser. He worked inside the Bush White House from 2000 to 2007, serving as deputy chief of staff and senior advisor to the president. He is widely regarded as the architect of Bush's two victorious presidential campaigns.
Howard Dean, a former governor of Vermont, ran for the Democratic presidential nomination in 2004, before serving as Democratic National Committee chairman from 2005 to 2009.
Both men now provide commentary to national media outlets: Dean contributes to CNBC; Rove contributes to FOX News, Newsweek and the Wall Street Journal.
