. I teach courses in application of statistics and psychometrics in education and social sciences. My research interests span two major areas with in the field of Item Response Theory in psychometrics: Dimensionality and Differential item functioning (DIF). I have contributed to the development and modifications of statistical methodologies for assessing dimensionality and DIF. Currently I am working (with Roussos, L) on the development of a statistical procedure for assessing DIF of computerized adaptive test items. My publications include:
  • “MULTISIB - A procedure to investigate DIF when a test is intentionally multidimensional” in Applied Psychological Measurement with (Stout, W., Li, H., & Habing);
  • “Assessing unidimensionality of polytomous data” in Applied Psychological Measurement (with Yu, Li, H., & Stout, W); and
  • “Traditional dimensionality vs. essential dimensionality” in Journal of Educational Measurement.
