The Museum Studies Certificate Program at the University of Delaware serves graduate students who are interested in careers in museums and other cultural institutions. The program offers a core set of courses in professional practice and accepts for credit selected graduate courses from other departments and programs for credit towards the certificate. Museum Studies also provides other professional development opportunities for our students, including small grants to subsidize attendance at museum conferences and on-campus seminars and workshops. Along with information on the program requirements and courses, this web page contains news on our current students, our graduates, and our work to strengthen the program for the future, including development of the Edward Alexander Endowment to fund internships.
