By donating to the Alexander Fund, your generous individual support helps us to celebrate and build on the legacy of Edward Porter Alexander. The fund provides stipends for Museum Studies students to defray the cost of travel and lodging for summer internships, many of which are otherwise unpaid. It is our goal that each Museum Studies intern will receive a summer stipend of no less than $500.

Students may also apply for Professional Development Grants from the fund, which assist in providing professional development opportunities such as attendance at workshops and conferences.

As an endowment administered by the University of Delaware, the Edward Alexander Fund is tax exempt. Gifts to the Alexander Fund are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

To send a donation to the Edward Alexander Fund, you must specify "Museum Studies Program - Alexander Fund" as the purpose of the donation. Please go to the UD donation page. Donations may be made online with MasterCard, VISA, Discover/NOVUS, and American Express.

Donate By Check:

Alternatively, you can send a check which is also processed by the University. Make the check payable to The University of Delaware with Museum Studies Program - Alexander Fund in the memo line. Please be sure to fill it out correctly - if the check is not filled out correctly, the money will not be donated to fund!
