ONIKWA WILLIAM (BILL) WALLACE
ONIKWA WILLIAM (BILL) WALLACE (1939-200¬8) began his career photographing people and places during the Civil Rights Movement. He worked as a staff photographer for the Chicago Daily Defender, was a news cameraman, and founded BW Productions. His work has been featured in traveling exhibitions organized my the DuSable Museum, Chicago, and Eastman Kodak, the Museum of Science and Industry, Chicago, and the Kenkeleba Gallery, New York.
