EDWARD L. LOPER Sr.

EDWARD L. LOPER Sr. (b. 1916) began drawing and painting in the mid 1930s while working on the Index of American Design for the Works Progress Administration. A native of Wilmington, Delaware, Loper gained national recognition for his early works. His paintings can be found in the collections of the Delaware Art Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and the Corcoran Gallery of Art, Washington, DC.
