EARL J. HOOKS

EARL J. HOOKS (1927-2005) graduated from Howard University, Washington DC, and received graduate certificates in ceramics from the Rochester Institute of Technology and the School of the American Craftsman, New York. His work has been exhibited at the Smithsonian Institution and the Art Institute of Chicago. Hooks taught at Indiana University Northwest Campus, and later chaired the Department of Art at Fisk University, Nashville, from 1961-1967.
